The Syllabus

One skill a week. Nothing overlaps, nothing rushes.

Each week has a clear focus and a lab that ends with something finished on your own work. This is a working plan — it gets adjusted with you as the cohort progresses.

  1. 1 Week 1

    Think with Claude

    Prompt engineering

Meet the Cowork mental model — Claude as a collaborator rather than a search box — and learn what makes a good delegation prompt. We separate what Claude is genuinely good at from what people expect it to do.

    Lab work

Write your first briefing document, plus a personal shortlist of 5 tasks you will delegate this month.

  2. 2 Week 2

    Get Organized

    Files and permissions

Give Claude access to the right files without giving it access to everything. Covers folder permissions, trusted workspaces, and the ask-before-acting discipline that keeps work safe.

    Lab work

Organise a real folder and receipts into an expense sheet or an inbox briefing you will actually reuse.

  3. 3 Week 3

    Research

    Without copy-paste

Work through the capability ladder: connectors, then the built-in browser, then computer use — and know which one to reach for. Emphasises sources you can cite and verify.

    Lab work

Build a competitor or supplier table with sources. Adapted per industry: marketing pacing, a sales account brief, or finance reconciliation.

  4. 4 Week 4

    Communicate

    Notes to something sendable

Turn raw notes and research into something a client or colleague would take seriously. Structure, tone, and the unglamorous work of a final pass.

    Lab work

Bring your Week 3 research and leave with a 6-slide deck or a one-pager you would actually send.

  5. 5 Week 5

    Automate

    Projects, schedules and plugins

Where memory lives, what projects are for, and how /schedule, mobile and dispatch fit together. Set up automation you can trust to run unattended.

    Lab work

Create 1 Project and 1 recurring task — for example every Monday at 08:00 Europe/Rome generating briefing.md — and install a role plugin.

  6. 6 Week 6

    Safety & Capstone

    Confidence and a 30-day plan

Plain-language safety: trusted folders, reviewing diffs, stopping a runaway task, keeping sensitive data out of previews. Closes with ROI stories and your showcase.

    Lab work

Showcase: Before → Prompt → After → hours saved, plus a 30-day plan for continuing alone.

Inside Every Session

Two hours, same rhythm every week

Total: 2h of structure (120 minutes), so there is always enough time to actually practise rather than watch.

  • 15m

    Recap

Where you got to, what got stuck, quick wins.

  • 30m

    Concept + demo

One idea, shown live on a real example.

  • 45m

    Guided lab

You work, I coach in real time.

  • 20m

    Industry breakout

Tailored to your sector and your actual files.

  • 10m

    Homework

One concrete task before next week.

A baseline rather than a rule — batches per week and time splits can be changed to suit the group.

What you need

  • → A laptop you can install software on
  • → A Claude subscription (free and paid tiers both work)
